Same InDesign file exports different size PDFs from different systems

Hi,

I am exporting an InDesign file to PDF and the result is a 430 KB file whereas when my boss exports the same file, his is only 80KB. He did not change any of the settings. What could this be?

    Depending on InDesign's Export settings, PDFs can easily vary in size. I suggest you or your boss create a PDF Preset that can be shared with others in your office. Assuming everyone uses this preset with no alterations, all exported PDFs should be the same size. Let me know if you need to know how to Save or Load a PDF Preset, which is quite simple.
