"Save as" frozen and not working

Whenever I try and save as my work to my laptop is freezes and I cant close the application unless I close it in task manager. It is version 20.4 InDesign on a windows laptop. It fixed itself for a couple days and now its not working again.

Hello @Ryan23809599gtv5,

Could you try running InDesign under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and under a a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps?
Also, check if InDesign behaves this way with specific files, or when saving to a particular folder location, and share your observations.

I tried running it under safe mode and it didnt help. As soon I as click save as for any fine it freezes and displays the same thing in the screenshot I attached. The whole applicaation freezes.
