Screen not redrawing when scrolling and zooming

I am getting a bit frustrated that the screen does not redraw properly at times (more often it seems) when scrolling and zooming in InDesign. I have to "fit in window" to get it to redraw and have to fight this when trying to work all day.

Document size doesn't seem to matter. This has happened for a while, luckily most of my work is done in Photoshop and Illustrator.

InDesign 2023 (18.2.1) - happened previously in previous versions as well.

Mac Mini / M1 / 16gb / Ventura 13.3.1 (a)
