SDK 22 Requirements

The developer release notes state that starting with version 22 (InDesign 2027) the SDK will only support Visual Studio Enterprise 2026. The requirement to use the enterprise version of Visual Studio was never ther in all the years that I have developped plugins. Did anyone try to compile v22 plugins using the Professional version of VS 2026 ?

Hi, I have used the Professional VS 2026 to compile my PlugIns and the basic dialog PlugIn. Seems to be working. I did use the exact specified version.

I am not sure but there should not be capability differences in these two versions. I mean the compiler, libraries etc should be the same. If I remember correctly years back I tried compiling plugins using the community edition or whatever it was called at that time and the only thing I remember needing extra efforts was adding some libraries to link.
