Need some help to understand why the second GREP style does not apply. That is, only the first GREP Style applies if I change the order in GREP Styles it works for the first on the list...

here are some pics to show what is happening and what I want to happen and the GREP styles...

Thanks in advance

The second grep style works when you have a period as the last character. For any character at the end of the text flow you need

.\Z

For .!? at the end of the text flow you need for example

[?!.]\Z

For .!? at the end of a paragraph you need for example

[?!.]$

What you really want is not yet clear to me. Sorry.
