Seeking Advice: Migrating 2 TB of InDesign & Illustrator Files to Creative Cloud

I used Adobe Creative Cloud a few years ago: it was a nightmare for me! 
For example, they didn't support Cyrillic file names.

So, I moved all files to Dropbox. Our plan is called Dropbox Professional — 3 TB — $200/year.

We use it on both Mac and Windows computers. InDesign integrates smoothly into Dropbox: you can open docs on Mac or Windows without the need to re-link links. It works quite fast, so we use it as a sort of local network.
There can be issues when 2+ users open the same files simultaneously: conflicting versions appear. I solved this with a script.

If you accidentally spoil, delete, or your file becomes damaged, you can restore it: Dropbox stores all saved versions for half a year.

As for me, I never had issues with moving files to Dropbox. But if they appear, this can be solved by a script.

For instance:

Batch processor (to process all files in a folder, optionally including all subfolders)

Illustrator is also scriptable. I'm sure if a need arises, you can find a script for relinking or have it written for you.

Hi @t_d_1111 , Cloud formated files—.PSDC, and .AIC—still have a local copy, so if your reason for saving in a Cloud format is to save disk space, that probably doesn’t work. On OSX the path to the local cloud copies is:

~⁨Users⁩ ▸ username ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Application Support⁩ ▸ ⁨Adobe⁩ ▸ ⁨CoreSync⁩ ▸ ⁨cloudnative⁩

I cannot recommend that. Use an established cloud storage solution such as Dropbox for this.
