Selection/Frame jumps when moving

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a strange issue in Adobe InDesign. When I try to move a selection or frame, as soon as I click and hold, it suddenly jumps far to the right of my cursor. If I drop it outside the page, it gets stuck and blocked. I’ve tried resetting preferences, checking snap/grid settings, re-installing InDesign, but nothing has worked so far. Please see the attached video for a better explanation.

Has anyone encountered this before? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Atrofio, have you had found anything that has resolved this issue as I'm having the same problem and it's driving me nuts.

Hi everyone, the only thing that I did was running the ¨Adobe Limited Access Repair Tool¨ but It wasn´t working after that, but I woke up today and the error was fixed, so not sure about what could have made it work at the end.

Some Windows 11 users say that they don't see the KB5050094 until they have rolled back the latest small patch that came after it.

A recent Windows 11 patch update KB5050094 is probably what is causing this problem. Go to Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Update and find just the update KB5050094 and uninstall it.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for the quick reply. The only updates I currently have available to uninstall are:

KB5049622
KB5051987

I checked the update history, and the one you mentioned doesn’t appear. The latest update I have is KB5051989, with the previous one being KB5050021.
