Separations Preview not working

Separations Preview not working on latest release (18.1 Dec 2022). Color separations are critical for soft proofing before starting print production.
PC screenshot is from InDesign 14.03 x32, Windows 7 Ultimate. Tab works normally.
iMac screenshot is from InDesign 18.1, MacOS 12.6.2 Monterey. Tab is blank.

Try deleting the Caches before Preferences so you don’t lose your settings—UI problems are often cache related.

Deleting the cache worked, and we didn't have to delete any preferences or settings. Thank you!

As @BobLevine says seems to be at your installation, I have used separation Preview on Mac and Windows with each version of InDesign. Try resetting prefferences and/or reinstalling the software.
