hello,

I need a new Serial Key for my CS 5.5 standard. Yesterday I had to change my hard drive with all installed and working software into a new notebook, since the screen is broken. Now when I try to start Indesign or Acrobat it says this serial has been activated on 2 PCs already. Well since 2011 when I bought the software I had to swab PC once in a while however I always uninstalled any software.

Nevertheless customer support says, CS5.5 is no longer supported. I have to ask for a serial key that has not been activated on two PCs.

please send the working serial to:

By "notebook" you mean "laptop", right?

Even if screen is broken - can't you connect external monitor?

Hello,

yes notebook = laptop. Anyhow,  I did not reinstall the software on a new laptop. I just transferred my HDD to the new laptop. Natirally the machine ID is another, but any other software (all legal ones and registered work without problems.) SInce Adobe says we don't support the software any more and yo can go to hell with you stupid problem or buy a new version., I just needed a working serial key.

Anyhow, I found one working serial number somewhere in the internet. Problem solved.

That's why if you could resurrect your old laptop and connect external mmonitor - you should be able to "release" key.

Peter is correct in that nobody here can help, but, I don't know what the current policy is on activation recounts so be prepared to run this up the ladder. I'm deleting your email address. Please do not post personal information here.

Contact customer support again and speak to a supervisor if necessary. They should be able to reset the activation counter.
