SHARE FOR TEXT editing

Question

Hi everyone. I downloaded the latest North American English version to get the "Share for Text Editing" feature, but when I open a new file and click "SHARE," I only see "Share for Review or Comment." Does anyone know why I don't have the "Share for Text Editing" feature?

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble you're experiencing while using "Share for text editing" feature. Would you mind telling us the version of InDesign installed on your machine? While downloading the North American English version, did you keep the Preferences of the other version of InDesign?

Please try resetting your preference manually by checking the video at the bottom of this article
