Sharepoint preventing export and printing of Indesign files

Hi everyone,

I'm unable to print or export my Indesign files that have content linked in Sharepoint. I have selected to 'keep a copy of all the files on my computer', however it still won't export or print . 

I have copied the images to another folder on my computer, not in sharepoint, and relinked to these, and can print and export fine. This is okay as an interim work around however I want to keep all of my files in Sharepoint. 

FYI I don't have this issue with any other program, just Indesign.

Appreciate any advice on this matter.

Hello @ReggieJ,

 

Try using OneDrive to sync the files to your local machine. You can link InDesign to the files locally and OneDrive will handle the sync work. The files in SharePoint Online will be in the same version with the files in your computer.

Thanks Mike,

Yes already doing this as per my initial rfs. However I discovered that i need to 'relink' all linked files, even though the file path hasn't changed.That did the trick although time consuming.
