shift, alt etc. don't work anymore

at the moment the functions related to the shift, alt etc keys no longer work. when I try to resize uniformly keeping the shift pressed, the transformation is not made uniform. when transposed an object while holding alt, it is not cloned. I'm on macbook

    Hi diegomorra:

    Try rebooting the computer and only open InDesign. Are the modifier keys working again?

    Other applications can interfere with InDesign's modifier keys. Once you are aware of the issue, you will likely be able to figure out which one.

    We will need a lot more information before we can give a specific answer:

    • What version of Mac OS are you on?
    • What version (specific) of InDesign are you using?
    • Is it all documents or just one?
    • Have you tried resetting your InDesign preferences (hold shift+Opt+Cmd+Ctrl on launch) and/or restarting your computer?
