Question

Shouldn't need a beta version for M2 Chip support!

I'm just posting that Adobe needs to fully support M1/M2 chipsets for InDesign. Unfortunately, I need to use the beta version of InDesign so that placed images (Illustrator files typically) don't appear as if they're extremely low quality (just like when a link is broken). I'm familar with all of the settings, and nothing worked - other than going to the Beta version.

Pretty dissapointed after making the switch from a MacBook Pro (Intel) to a fully-speced Mac Mini Pro with an M2 chip. M1/M2 chips have been out for sometime.

Note: the only way to "fix" the appearance" is to use Overprint Preview - but then InDesign (even on my high-spec MacBook Pro with AMD GPU) runs like a dog.

Hi @D. Klein ,

Thank you for reaching out. Let me assure you I'll share your feedback with the team, and you can do that too by posting a request on the UserVoice as suggested by Barb.

Thanks

Rishabh

Hi @D. Klein:

Eventually, this will be the place to note feature requests (hence the Feature Request tag), but right now you are primarily talking with other users. Please log feature requests here https://indesign.uservoice.com/ to make sure that they are seen by the InDesign team.
