Hi @rehana36276218, you already have the correct answer, but I just wanted to elucidate:

When you delete a text frame from a thread (meaning text flowing inside more than one text frame), you are deleting *just the frame*. You are not affecting the story at all, except that now the story has one less text frame to fit into.

So if you want to delete a text frame, first carefully delete all the text from that text frame, then delete the text frame itself. It may take some practice.

As @Steve Werner already explained - TextFrame on the page is just a "container" - if it's threaded/linked with other "container(s)" - then when you delete page and this "container" - its contents will flow to the next "container".

If I'm understanding: If you have text threaded over several pages, deleting a page in the middle doesn't delete the text on that page. It just forces that text to the next text frame. The result being that the text on the last page will overset (because you have less space into which the text flows).
