Size problem when exporting from indesign to pdf

I export a 15x21 cm book to pdf in indesign, it makes it 16x22 pdf. When our graphic designer exports the exact same document on his own computer, it exports it as 15x21. We don't know if it is a bug in the current versions. Of course, this creates a lot of trouble for us for minor corrections.

Thanks for the answers.

The same problem occurs both when bleeds are on and off. In addition, bleeds are a must for us, not an option. It needs to give the correct dimensions when bleeds are on.

When our graphic designer exports with the exact same selections as me in an older version of Indesign, he exports with the correct dimensions. When I export, the result is a pdf that is increased by one cm.

WHAT needs to give you the correct dimensions? Where are you checking these dimensions? Please show us screenshots from your computer and the other party's? If the other person sends you one of their exports do the proper dimensions show in whatever application you're checking in?

Hi @Ömer37027066t6f4 , As @Mike Witherell  suggests make sure your Marks and Bleeds are set to 0.

If you are checking the PDF size in Acrobat’s Document Properties>Description>Advanced>Page Size, that dimension includes the exported bleeds, slugs, and marks.

Sounds like you're adding bleed and the other person is not.

Selamlar Ömer,

Could it have anything to do with bleed dimensions? During export to PDF, is bleed on or off or does it make any difference?

Can you share the PDF to allow us to examine?
