Slow performance InDesign 20.2 since update

InDesign is processing very slow when editing paragraph and character styles. Have checked my system  and I have all of the processing requirements needed. Noticed this after the latest update on March 7, 2025. Anyone else noticing this?

Thanks for sharing! Could you provide the details Derek requested and try his suggestion? In addition to it, I tested this on both Windows and macOS and didn’t notice the slowdown. Does this happen only with large files or all files? Try creating a new file and see if the lag persists. Also, are your files stored locally, on an external drive, a remote server, or the cloud? Let us know the details.

    How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

    Have you tried resetting the InDesign settings back to the factory defaults?
