Smart Text Reflow add pages wrongly when there are more than one story

The overset text must be added to the next text frame but it is added to new page instead.

I am not sure what's happening but I would check:

the link from text frame to text frame. You can see the link from the end of a frame to the start of the next. This can be done from the pages or the Master Pages (now called Parents) to see if it links correctly.
The text style might force the text to start on the next page, turn on the display of hidden characters to show all the returns, spaces, tabs... that might force the text on the next page
can you share the version of your software and operating system?

I'm sorry for the absence of clarity.

I have two separated stories, the first on the cyan left column and the other one on the white area.

If the first story extend to the second page. The second one will be prevented to extend to the next page but it will jump to the third.
