Snapping and Smart Guides Not Working

Im sooo sooo soo soo sooo soo soo soo soos sooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired.

 

i feel like every single piece of adobe software is broken. it embrassing.

 

basic featured that should speed thing up now are slowing me down.

 

snap does not work at all. smart guides ON, snap to guides ON.

 

IT. DOES. NOT. WORK.

Go to the View menu > Guides and grids and check if “Snap to document grid” is ticked. If it is, untick it.

    Hi @Gandhi4,

     

    I completely understand how frustrating it must be when essential features like snapping aren't working as expected. Could you please share the version of InDesign you're using and the details of your operating system? 

     

    In the meantime, try resetting your InDesign preferences by holding down 'Shift+Option+Command+Control' while starting InDesign. Reference: https://adobe.ly/3BPvq7K

     

    Also, check if toggling 'View > Grids & Guides > Snap to Guides' and ensuring 'Smart Guides' is enabled helps.
