Question

Sort links by Effective PPI doesn't seem to be working

As noted, I can’t actually sort links by Effective PPI. Here’s what I get (right column):

Is there something I’m missing in getting this to work?

It looks like it might be ignoring content that appears more than once, i.e. in a folder in the Links list.

Thanks!

Interesting. I can’t reproduce it here. What are your InDesign and operating system versions?

Also, try to reset preferences and especially caches, which cah help fix unusual UI issues:

    Thanks Leo,

I’m using ID 21.2 and on Mac Sequoia 15.7.4.

In the middle of something, but will try resetting prefs.

    Hi @turner111,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the details along with the screenshot. I understand how confusing this behavior can be when trying to sort links by Effective PPI.

I'm currently checking this with the product team to understand whether this is expected behavior related to repeated links in the Links panel or if it needs further investigation. I'll keep you posted as soon as I have an update.

    Best,
    Abhishek
