Special character for line breaks

I'm generating a CSV file from the database and some columns have long paragraphs with multiple line breaks. Since this will potentially break the CSV file, I want to replace the line breaks with the "indesign special character for line break". So when I data merge with Indesign later, Indesign will automatically replace the special character with the actual line break.

What is the special character for the line break?
