STEP 'N' DESIGN plug-in not working within Adobe InDesign & Stibo STEP

Having installed the latest version of InDesign to my machine I was then advised by Stibo to install a 2019 version of the software to enable the STEP'N'DESIGN plugin to work to pull the required data from the platform.

Having then backdated the software and installed the correct InDesign plugin the software then starts to open with the panel page but then closes down and sends a crash report. This issue has been raised several times and I am unsure of the best way to resolve setting this functionality up to ensure it works as expected as it once did previously on an older machine? 

IT teams have tested the plugins configurations with both the 32 and 64-bit versions of the software and their corresponding plug-ins but the issue is still occurring. Does anyone have experience of this issue and knows of a potential fix or reason why this may be happening?
