Strange Line Printing

Hi

I have an EPS of a ECG line running across the front cover of a leaflet. In InDesign and Acrobat the line appears to be fine, but when it's printed there is another line running through the middle of it. I have tried printing on two seperate printers with the same outcome. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I take ALL eps files and open them in Adobe Illustrator and SAVEAS to an .AI file. Try using the .AI file in the layout and see if that changes anything.

Thank you for your reply. I saved it as a JPG which solved the problem. I can't test it as an AI file as it was someone else printing it.

If you are going to save this as a raster file, you'd be better off saving as a Bitmap mode (B&W) .tif file at 1200 ppi than as a .jpg, then apply the color in InDesign.
