Sudden missing font error messages

Suddenly, my InDesign is giving me 110 Pre-Flight errors, all saying that my Segoe UI font is missing.  It appears in the document OK but how do I get rid of the error messages and assuage the software?  Do I somehow reinstall the font?

@jpgringo3sav The font Segoe UI is an Adobe font, so there are few of the possible reasons why it is showing as missing. First it could be that the font be available both in your System font and in the Creative Cloud as well. So, what you can do is that, save the InDesign file and then force quit the InDesign application from Task manager/Activity Monitor, open fonts.adobe.com and then search for the name of the font and remove it and then add it again. After that launch the Creative Cloud Desktop application, go to the fonts tab and then you will see the list of the fonts added. There you will see that the font might be added but not installed, so you need to click on the “Install” button and then after that the fonts will be installed. That will fix your issue.

In case the issue still persists, then use the CC Cleaner tool and clean reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application (make sure before doing that force quit the CCDA) and after that reinstall the CCDA, you will see that the fonts will start syncing and your issue will be resolve.

Please do let me know if that works.

Here is the link to use the CC Cleaner tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/apps/troubleshoot/diagnostics-repair-tools/run-creative-cloud-cleaner-tool.html

     Thank you.

@jpgringo3sav, in addition to what @leo.r suggested, look in your Creative Cloud Desktop app under fonts to see if Segoe UI is an added or installed font. Actually, I’m not sure Segoe UI is available for installation through Adobe fonts. I have it added and can use it in documents, but the preview indicates “Unable to install this font.” You can check and re-add the family from Adobe fonts again if you need to here: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/segoe-ui. You might need to quit all the way out of Creative Cloud and come back in. Please let us know if you still have problems!

When you double-click the errors in the Preflight panel, what does InDesign show?
