Direct RAW File Integration in Adobe InDesign

I would like to request native support for placing and linking RAW image formats directly in Adobe InDesign, including DNG, NEF, CRW, CR2, CR3, ARW, RAF, and other Camera Raw compatible formats.

You can place feature requests here

Hi @Stajer Michael , RAW file formats have none of the info—Dimension, Resolution, Bit Depth, Color Space, Color Profile, etc—needed for print output. The Camera RAW Photoshop plugin for making conversions into a print format has been around for over 20 years, so I don’t think there is going to by a printable RAW format.

I have a script that coverts RAW files to PSDs and places them in InDesign. I can post it if you want to give it a try.
