Support with tabs and numbering for large document - best practices
Are there any readers who understand TABS and AUTOMATIC NUMBERING? I am seeking best practices. The content of a large document in Word needs to be redeveloped and completed in InDesign. It is a large document of 25 pages, and I would like the setup to be correct so that I can add points as needed.
In terms of tabs and numbering, how do I get from A (refer to screenshot) to B? First, do I remove all the numbering in the word document and then copy it into InDesign? Or do I copy as is and amend in paragraph styles? Currently, I achieved A by manually applying tabs to each point which is good practice.
