Swatch Colors Appear Dark in InDesign and Illustrator Workspace

I'm hoping someone can please help. Adobe team couldn't help me last time I spoke with them. 

I am having issues with my workspace display in Adobe Indesign and Illustrator. 

 

The colors shown in the workspace are all extremely dark and is not reflecting accurate colors. I know the swatches are correct as they export correctly to a PDF -- However IN THE ACTUAL WORKSPACE, everything has a dark tint. This has been ongoing for 2 years and I still can't figure it out. Has anyone had this happen to them? 

 

In the photo you can see the swatch colors selected vs. how they appear on the page. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating.  Technically the colors export correctly so I am stumped.

Hi @ashley13021 , When you mouse over one of the CC Libraries swatches, what is its Color Mode and is the fill object on the page the same color space (InDesign allows a mix of different color spaces on the same page):
