table text not flowing to the next page.

Hi, I am having a problem with the text in a three column table not flowing to the next page. The table is set up with header and I have added a new row. The column has the overset red dot but the overset text will not go to the next page. The text is coming from a word doc that is also set up in this manner from the client.  I am experience in using tables but have watched version youtube videos so see if I am missing somthing. It is driving me crazy. Please help.

The only solution to split cells - in InDesign - is to cut overset text, create new row and paste it  - which can be automated - but I'm not sure if it will pass accessibility check - as this will be two separate cells?

Cells cannot split over pages - so you have active text in 1 cell that is overset, as cells can't split over pages you have to fake it by adding another row and copying the overset text to the new cell.

Ok, thanks, I didn't know that. I assume that if it could be done in Word that it was possible. Is there accessibility issues with faking it. This project will produce a PDF and it is required to pass accessibility.

Can't imagine it being an issue, but not an expert on accessibility PDFs.
