tabs not responsive in interactive pdf file once file text was edited. Did not change tabs

I was sent an indesign file and support over google docs. I edited 3 charts and changed copy. I saved the document and exported as an interactive. Now the tabs are not working correctly. I checked all the buttons all are correct. I resaved the file with a new name. All the buttons updated to the newly named document. But they are not responsive. I packaged the file again and tried again. Still no joy. The original file worked perfectly and I haven't done anything to the tabs, but I can't get them to work. Saving as the original name and exporting there, or as a renamed file...please help it has to go back to the client as an interactive pdf. The file isn't large...so the funkiness/delay isn't being caused by that. thankyou

Okay, I downloaded the file and frankly it's very poorly constructed with text frames broken up all over. I delected a few empty ones and now it works.

Sorry about the build. I didn't make it. I downloaded the pdf you sent, and it still doesn't work right here. No idea why. I've restarted — all my adobe software is up to date. New macbookpro as of April. File is totally glitchy. I click on a tab and it doesn't go anywhere...or is very delayed. Were you having any problems like that once in the file and trying to navigate from section to section?

Yes, until I edited it, but again, it's built horribly and I'm guessing that it's contributing to the glitchiness.

The first one does but without seeing the InDesign file, it's hard to diagnose.

Here is an idml file, full id file is too big share. Tabs/Buttons are set up on the master page, and were working fine yesterday when the file was sent to me to edit. I have resaved and double checked all are linked to Oct 7 file and not the previous Oct 5 file name. Tabs are working sporatically, some work, some don't then do, then don't and the response is quite delayed.
