Can you provide 2 files:

1. The file before conversion without the problem
2. The file opened and saved with the new version.

If you intend to say that your InDD files increased in size by 100 times since update to the latest version then that is not an expected thing. Can you answer the following

• Is this happening with all the files you have or just a single one?
• If it's a single file then probably it got corrupted. Export it to IDML and then resave back to INDD. Then check the file size.
• What about the files you create afresh? Does their size look ok?
