Temporarily disable the ME Type Tool InDesign

Is there a way to temporarily disable the ME Type Tool within InDesign and only have it enabled when I need it?

Hi Christopher,

There is no way of disabling ME type tool untill ME version is installed. If you want to get rid of that please uninstall and change language from CC(Click 3 dots next to Bell icon> Preferences > Creative Cloud > App language) and reinstall.
