Text Appearing Lower in Text Frame Despite Correct Alignment and Spacing Settings

Hi all! I’m working with InDesign files created using software that converts PDFs into InDesign files. I am having an issue that’s driving me crazy. Text is showing up lower than it should in the text boxes. I have made sure the Vertical Justification is set to “Top.” Baseline shift is 0. There is no inset spacing (all 0). The font is all the same size (I did “Command A” to be sure). What else would cause text to be lower than it should be in a text box? I’m out of ideas. Thank you!

I figured it out! I had to go into Text Frame Options (command B on Mac); then in the Text Frame Options window on the left is a list… click on “Baseline Options.” The first drop-down menu is “Offset. Change that to “Ascent.”
