Text breaks up when exported from InDesign to PDF (in Acrobat Pro)

I have been creating some 20 page reports in InDesign, then exporting to PDF. I noticed that some of the text was disapearing throughout the document. This has become a very serious issue - I hope someone can help.

To me it seems, that an object is above the text covering it up.

  • Look into your Layers
    • On each spread
    • On the parent/master page
    • On the parent/master page of the parent/master page
