Text Frame General - Inset Spacing not working

Question

When I attempt to adjust the text frame inset spacing in an object style, the text frame does not change or, the text frame adjusts evenly on all sides despite only adjusting the top for example.

I'm not seeing that. (v19.4, Win11)

If I create an object style for a text box, and update the text frame in any way, then Redefine Style, the changes are added to the style and to any text frames with that style applied.

I find it easier and more reliable to make changes to an object (or paragraph, or character span) and then update the style from that, rather than make changes to the style settings directly. Not always, but as a general working rule. Object Styles in particular have a lot of layers and submenus and can get messy to try and edit directly.
