Text is behind graphic?

When I place text on top of a graphic, the text disappears, like it is behind the graphic. I want it to be on top of the graphic. How can I do that?

The text could be on a lower layer than the graphic, it could be on the same layer, but below the graphic.

If neither of those are the case, then check your graphic and make sure that it does not have Text Warp applied to it.

Try: Object > Text Frame Options and tick Ignore Text Wrap

or (select the Type box) and choose: Object > Arrange > Bring to Front
