Text link direction in Indesign Middle East edition

I recently installed the Middle East edition of Indesign CC because I needed to make a book in Arabic. Now that I am again making a book in Latin letters, I notice that the cursor for new text frames is mirrored (because an Arabic text frame would naturally be read right to left). Also, handles for text frames are reversed: the link box is in the bottom left instead of the bottom right as in the Western edition. Is this merely cosmetic, or does it affect the layout somehow – and if so, how can I change it so that the links go from the bottom right?

    Hi,

There are a list of options on this page to turn-on Middle Eastern options. You can use the same options to reverse the process.

Let us know if that solves the issue.

    Hello Eric,

Where can I find these options? What is “this page” in this context?
