Hi,

I am working with the table in InDesign and for some reason in the first column, it splits longer words like in the screenshot. I've been trying to figure it out but nothing seem to work... I will will really appreacite any help with this!

Some extra object with a very big TextWrap?

Can you post a bigger screenshot - with hidden characters vidible?

Some confusion here. Can you clarify whether the word is hyphenated incorrectly, or whether you expected the word not to hyphenate at all? There seems to be a lot of space to the right of the word, that's why I asked.

    Select a column.

    Window/Text/Paragraph.

    Uncheck the "hyphenate" option.

    You mean with split hyphenation?

    • Has the pargraph style the corrext language?
    • In InDesign’s settings is the correct dictionary for the welected language?
    • Which hyphenation settings has your paragraph style?

A big cell inset? Or a large right-indent on the paragraph? And is the centre-justification intended?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
