Hi,

I am trying to place a word document in indesign.

Everything is ok except for the text wrapping.

is there a way to carry the text wrapping properties in word to indesign?

thanks

No way that I know of - as the settings are not compatible or work the same way.

When you import the Word doc the image is an anchored object.

Best idea I can come up with is to set up an Object Style - and set all your settings for Anchored Object - and also the Text Wrapping the way you like it.

Then apply it to the Anchored Objects that come in from Word.

Everything is an added step 😄 but having it as an object style means changing it globally will reduce steps in the future.
