Text wraps on object states. Indesign 2025

Hi,

I am working with object states in endsign for a fixed epub, where each object state has a text wrap. I am trying to figure out if there  is a way for one state that has a text wrap, ignore a text wrap from a different state? In otherwords, state 1 has a text wrap with object b and state 2 has a text wrap with object a and currently both states see each others wrap. Unfortunately, if I turn on "ignore wrap" for either of the state's text frames, it nullify's its own wrap. Is there a workaround?

Sounds like you need to simplify the design. There is no way I can think of to make this work.

I can only recommend to avoid this kind of interactivity  even if you get the state dependent text wrap work in InDesign. This behavior will not be supported in all browsers and readers in the same or even similar way. Avoid these gags.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
