Texte vertical InDesign

Tout juste pour dire: Les versions française, allemand, espagnol et anglais sont équivalent au niveau des fonctionalités. Et si ça te tente, tu peux toujours installer la version anglaise en cas de doute.

What kind of text do you like to compose? Chinese, Japanese? Or simply French text?

Do you need to run the vertical lines from right to left or from left to right?

Hm. Maybe you like to do this with Adobe Illustrator and place the result as AI or PDF file…

Salut.
Contrairement à Illustrator, il n'y a jamais eu d'outil texte vertical dans ID.
Pour faire du texte vertical dans ID, il te faut d'abord faire une ligne verticale (avec l'outil trait ou contour avec la plume par exemple), puis utiliser l'outil texte curviligne.
Tu cliques sur la dite ligne, tu mets ton texte, puis tu selectionnes le texte ou la ligne et tu vas dans :
> Texte > Etxet curvilgne > options et tu choisis « marche de l'escalier » en jouant sur les options.
(Tu peux ensuite en faire un style je pense)

typing text vertically in a text frame never was a feature with e.g. a French, a German or an English InDesign.

You could rotate the text frame. Or if you are typing in a text cell of a table you could rotate the text inside the cell.

Typing vertically is a feature of the Chinese or Japanese version of InDesign.

With the help of a script that is using the Japanese Paragraph Composer one could rotate single characters.

When rotating the text frame as well then you have something like vertical text in your French InDesign.
