Textzeichen suchen und ersetzen funktioniert nicht

If I get it right, you are not able to see all the Find/Change Selection options in InDesign 2019, however, you see them in InDesign 2017.

I have checked the Selection option at my end in InDesign 2019 (v14.0.3), I am able to see all the options you have in 2017 version, there is no change. All 5 options ( All Documents, Document, Story, To End of Story, Selection ) are available.

I'd request you to check the similar options on any other/new document, If it still doesn't work, try resetting the prefrences for InDesign 2019.

Process is mentioned below:  

• Close all adobe applications 
• Go to Locations:  
• ~/Library/Caches 
• ~/Library/Preferences 
• Rename Adobe InDesign and com.adobe.indesign to Adobe InDesign.old and com.adobe.indesign.old 
• Launch InDesign from the CC 

Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. This way all your old settings will be saved in .old folders and InDesign will recreate new folders with default settings.
