I have looked at the issues but the posts are 11 years old . I have tried to sort and it’s still happening. ANY ideas welcome.

It’s something within resolution, double screen I THINK but i have tried multiple options.

Any ideas?

Windows > System > Display > Scale and Layout: what is the scale of the screen?

Windows > Settings > Accessibility > Mouse Pointer and Touch

and within InDesign: Preferences > User Interface Scaling > UI Sizing: what is the scale set to.

All these things affect the scale size of what you are seeing.

Can you please post a screenshot that would help understand what kind of problem you’re referring to? Also, what are your InDesign and operating system versions?

    Hi @Ros38228568dovj,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. Sorry you're running into this issue.

Could you first try adjusting the InDesign User Interface Scaling settings and check if that helps? You can find the steps here:

If the issue still persists, it may be related to your monitor resolution or the Windows display scaling, especially if you're using a dual-monitor setup. In that case, please check the Display Scale settings for both your primary and secondary monitors by going to Windows Settings > System > Display. As a test, try setting the Scale to 100% or 125% and see if the icon size returns to normal. You can also refer to this discussion for additional context:

Please let us know how it goes, and we'll be happy to continue investigating if the issue persists.
