The same font installed in my computer shows up differently in Photoshop and Indesign. Can somebody tell me why it happens?

The same font installed in my computer shows up differently in Photoshop and Indesign. Can somebody tell me why it happens? The versions of both vary. My Indesign is CS5 while photoshop is CS6. However the font is complete in Indesign

Your default OpenType settings must be different.

The font is the same, but the InDesign version has contextual or stylistics alternates applied.
