I've just been cleaning my iMac

(Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)

4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

I removed an older version of Adobe InDesign and installed the up-to-date one.

Now however, I can't save any documents, I get the above message.

Any ideas or help appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS & InDesign? Are you getting this error while saving a specific file or all? Are you saving the file on a local drive or on a network?

You need to check your access rights to InDesign's folders.
