Hi,

My customer made comments on documument, which I can see both, at assets.adobe.com preview as well as in indesign, however pins are visible at online version only.

How to fix it?

Please, help.

    Hi @mchale,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots and confirming the details. Before we proceed further, could you please try switching back to Normal screen mode via View menu > Screen Mode > Normal and check if the pin annotations appear afterward? Please share a screenshot if possible.

Also, please check the response shared by another user on this thread and confirm if the behavior matches what you’re seeing on your end as well:

If it appears to be the same issue, please be informed that this is already being checked further with the product team. Kindly allow me some time, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I have an update to share.

    Thanks,
    Abhishek

    • my version is 21.3
    • comments appear both - in the program and online, only pins missing
    • refreshing do not help

    • No difference with preview mode on/off
    • I’m at review panel opened

I attached screenshots of the two sources.

    Hi McHale,

Have you checked to see whether you are in Preview mode or not? Does that make a difference? Are you looking at Window > Comments > Review panel; not PDF Comments panel?

    Hi @mchale,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re running into this issue with the comment pins.

Could you please confirm the exact InDesign version and your operating system details? Also, please let me know whether only the pins are missing in InDesign, or if the related comments themselves are also not appearing there.

In the meantime, could you also try refreshing the InDesign comments by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + Alt/Option + N while in InDesign and check if the pins appear afterward?

If possible, please share a screenshot showing how the comments/pins appear in the assets.adobe.com web view along with the corresponding InDesign document/comments panel view. That would really help compare the behavior and investigate this further.

    Looking forward to your update.
    Abhishek
