Tool bar and pallets don't open automatically

Hi everyone!

I'm running InDesign 2023 on a Mac with OS Ventura 13.0.1. When I start InDesign, my tool bar and my workspace no longer automatically appear on my screens. I can go to "Reset my workspace" to bring up my pallets and hit the tab to open my toolbar, but they used to just "be there," unless I closed them the last time I used InDesign. Any thoughts on this? It's not mission critical, just annoying...
