Track Changes is very slow

I am using track changes, but it has a really bad lag of approximately ten seconds for every action.

Go to next track change: 10 seconds.

Accept track Change: 10 seconds

Reject Change: 10 seconds.

Why is this? Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

I am on mac os 10.13.4 and inDesign 13.1.

    Greetings from Adobe!

    Just wanted to confirm, apart from "track changes" how is the InDesign performance otherwise? Is it slow with other options as well or just with "track changes"?

    Also, please try resetting preferences for InDesign and share results:

    For Windows

    • Close all Adobe applications.
    • Go to Locations :
    • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
    • C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Adobe.
    • Delete or Rename InDesign folders.
    • Launch InDesign from CC.

    For MAC

    • Close all Adobe applications.
    • Go to Locations:
    • ~/Library/Caches
    • ~/Library/Preferences
    • Delete or rename Adobe InDesign and com.adobe.indesign
    • Launch InDesign from the CC

    Having the same issue! Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no dice.
