Trouble Documents

Occasionally I will have a document that is dreadfully slow—whether opening it or going from one Indesign document back to that one in the tabs.

This particular document is a new document that I imported text into from a Word .doc.

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

I think I resolved the problem. It was missing fonts and once I replaced them it worked.

Hi,

Glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue. For future reference, you can refer to this article https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/slow-performance-indesign.html

Did you try healing with idml?

indd -> idml -> save as new indd - work with new indd

Version?

OS?

Are graphics included?

How many colums?

Do you work with styles?
