Trouble with TOC - Duplicating numbers - multiple line TOC

Hello,

Probably an extremely silly question, however that's where I am with ID  😞

I have set up my chapter titles using Heading 1, on three lines..e.g.

1

This is line one

This is Line too

In the TOC, who BTW doesn't like me,  it shows as e.g.

292 1

292 Line one

292 Line two.

wheras as I would like it.

292 Line 1  - Line two

310 Line 1 -  Line two   etc

Is there a way to do this please?

Thank you

Hi..

May not be the correct way to do it however..

I extended the text box the Chapter text was in and shifted the top line to left justification then took the second line to the end of the first line so it wasn't broken, then closed the text box until the second line of text started where I wanted it to, then selected centre text and after TOC layout, it was lined up as I wanted it.

As I said maybe a bodgie way of doing it, however so far it has worked for me for the 33 Chapters.  🙂
