Trying to use weather sample extension, but html is not loading

Question

I have installed inDesign v15. I have downloaded the sample from github and trying to use provided CEP waether sample extension in windows 10. I have pasted folder in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.cep.weather-simple. After selecting the extension from windows > Extensions > weather simple I get the blank window. Can anyone guide me here in order to succesfully run the sample extension.

The extensions on Github most probably are not signed extensions so to make them work you will have to switch on the debug mode on your machine.

For Windows you will have to make changes to the registry for every version of CSXS you are using. See the following link for details

For your case you might have to make the entry to CSXS.9 key as you are using InDesign version 15
