InDesign 18 has a new feature borrowed from Microsoft Word—a popup graphic that blocks the view and adds time to editing work. Any quick way to turn that off? Not helpful when there are hundreds of edits to make.

? Not sure what you mean, can you post a screenshot?

I tried, but the popup disappears when I go into screenshot mode. When you paste material from another app, a little helper icon and/or menu pops up, right at the cursor, and is often in the way. Just like Word!

I don't paste from outside sources as much as some, but I've encountered this icon and instantly hated it. Thanks to Barb for the info!
